Admission policies

  • The Academy accepts all students aspiring to learn Islamic knowledge according to the academy’s methodology and its scientific system.
  • Both males & females 15 years old and over are able to stud at the Academy.
  • Students can choose the language of perferance, to study in either Arabic or English.

Educational Process:

  • Lectures, events and exams are conducted online, with efforts to organize as many inperson activities as possible.
  • Study in the academy is according to its own academic curricula that were prepared by a number of academic experts.
  • The academy is using a number of modern educational methods for the live lectures. Moreover, recorded lectures will be made available to the students offline.
  • The academic year includes 2 semesters, five months each (September – January) and (February – June). Each semester includes 19 weeks for study and examinations.
  • The study consists of a total of 120-130 teaching hours per semester: 5-6 live lectures hours weekly (about 95 hours per semester), in addition to 25-35 hours per semester invested in Quran seminars, activities, research, and other interactive
  • The academy is studying the ability to provide an intensive summer course that is suitable for university and high school students.

Levels of the study

The 4 years  (8 semesters) study of the Academy is divided into two levels:

  • The Basic level: The duration of which is two academic years (four semester). It bringing the students to a satisfactory level of the basic Islamic knowledge and Arabic language. It goes beyond that by providing a Values & Tazkiyah program helping the students to become role models and active community members.
  • The specialization level: This advanced level is for another 2 years (4 semesters). It is a continuation of the basic level where the student choose between several Islamic knowledge specializations. Our a Values & Tazkiyah program is continuing as well in this level to achieve better implementation of the Islamic knowledge values and manners.

Exams and Graduation

  • Students’ evaluation is through Exams in all courses
  • Examinations takes palce TWICE in each semester (mid-term and finals).
  • Written Exams are in the form of multiple choice questions.
  • Flexibility and convenience are taken into account in the exams.
  • Quran and Hadith memorizing as well as and the Arabic language will be evaluated by Oral Exams.
  • The student is considered successful and obtains a certificate of passing the academic level in case of success in the four semesters in all courses with a percentage of no less than 60%.
  • The Academy grants the successful students an official academic certificate at the end of each of the 2 levels.

The Academy’s study fees

  • The Academy is a non-for-profit project; however, its budget must be balanced with a small surplus estimated at about 10% of the total annual income that allows for development and financial security.
  • The Academy is a professional project. Although it accepts the cooperation of serious and committed volunteers, it is based on specialization and paid contracting in all aspects of its jobs. Also, even though the academy accepts donations, its budget does not depend on them. These donations are put towards supporting students incapable of paying their fees, but for the majority of students, the educational expenses must be paid.

Study Fees:

  • The study fees of a semester for all levels is 300 Canadian dollars.
  • Special youth discount (15 to 30 years old), only 200 Canadian dollars.
