The Legal Status of the Academy

As of now, two official Canadian institutes are collaborating on this project:

  • Ayaat Academy Corporation: It is a Canadian for-profit organization that was established in September 2019 and works in the field of preparing and marketing educational projects and curricula.
  • Ayaat Foundation: It is the creator of Ayaat Quran Program, and is a Canadian non-profit organization that was established in September 2019 and works in the field of implementing Islamic educational projects.
  • Ayaat Academy Corp will fund and manage the preparation of the academic curricula, tests and other study materials and prepare them for implementation while having full ownership of its products.
  • Ayaat foundation will implement the program as its second educational program, according to the prepared curricula and study materials prepared by Ayaat Academy Corp.

The administrative structure of the Academy

The administrative structure of the Academy consists of:

  • The Advisory board: It consists of a group of Islamic professors and scholars. Its main role is to provide scientific, educational, and academic advices to the central committee.
  • The Central Committee: It is the higher executive body of the Academy and it consists of the heads of the committees and departments. It strives to set strategies, develop plans, and monitor its implementation.
  • Curriculum Committee: It consists of specialists in Islamic curricula in all Islamic knowledge fields. It works on preparing the curricula then developing and constantly updating it.
  • Supervision Committee: It is the committee that supervises teachers and their assistants and monitors the educational process.
  • Technical Committee: It specializes in creating and developing technical tools for long-distance education through online educational platforms and websites. As well as, providing technical support required for students and teachers and constantly developing technical performance.
  • The Administrative Committee: It is chaired by the Administrative Director and assisted by specialists in the fields of student affairs, accounting, personnel affairs, advertising, marketing and other necessary administrative areas.
