For decades, Muslims have witnessed a number of challenges with political, economic, social and cultural dimensions. In recent years, these challenges have increased and magnified, and they constitute a major crisis for the Islamic world, and an existential threat to Muslims in the West. These challenges, with their different dimensions, should constitute a starting point for the necessity of reconsideration of Muslims’ conditions, externally and internally. Among Muslims in the West, the need to look internally is becoming more and more important.
The first viewpoint internally is the station of our awareness of Islam with the correct knowledge based on its correct rules and reliable references, which are provided to us by trusted specialists of Islamic knowledge.
The Muslims’ knowledge about Islam is not limited to knowing its pillars, rules and rulings; rather, it extends to controlling his manners and behavior, building his personality, and developing his skills and capabilities; to be able to interact with his community according to the highest standards of “Goodness” that our Holy Quran has commanded us:
“وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ” آل عمران/104،
“ And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful “ (Aal-Imran 104)

Basic Islamic Knowledge For Every Muslim
“كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللهِ” آل عمران/110.
“ You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient “ (Aal-Imran 110)
Furthermore, it was a responsibility taken by those spreading the word of Allah to enrichen the knowledge of the general Muslim public through teaching (what the Muslim cannot be ignorant of) While this education is necessary for everyone, it is especially for youth, more specifically, those in non-Muslim countries for the apparent struggles they face everyday.
Moreover, we must recognize that generally the Arabic language is essential for learning islamic studies. That’s why anyone who’s interested in perusing Islamic studies must know Arabic, even just the basics. Knowing Arabic will assist the students in reading, writing and grasping key concepts in their field of study.
Based on that, the idea of this academy was to bridge some of the gaps in the field of religious education for the Muslim community in the West by teaching the Arabic language and basic Islamic sciences within the limits of (what the Muslim cannot be ignorant of)
The Academy Concept
The academy collective objective is to teach Islamic knowledge from their pure and unambiguous sources and teach the Arabic language to Arabic speakers and non-speakers through a simplified scientific curriculum that focuses on the necessary Islamic knowledge. In addition, having all the educational materials online and always available to students. Although the academy is open to all ages starting 15 years old, we’re focusing more on youth. In addition, successful students will be granted graduation certificates that we’re working to be certified from one or more of the well-known Islamic universities.
An international academy specialized in teaching Islamic knowledge and Arabic language and characterized by moderate understanding of Islam. We’re striving to use modern educational methods to reach Muslims across the world with a focus on Canada and the West. Our point of focus is to bridge the gap of basic Islamic knowledge, develop the skills and abilities, and create active and influential community members.
Teaching basic Islamic knowledge and the Arabic language, with a simplified scientific method, according to the modern educational techniques. We’re working to develop Islamic awareness in society and to create a generation of Muslim youth who are proud of their religion and are a role model of Islam presenting it in a practical, modern and attractive way.
