As a model for Islamic communities in western countries, AYAAT ILM Academy began its journey in Canada, where we reside, to be our starting position in which we will spread Islamic knowledge across the globe insha’Allah.

AYAAT ILM Academy was created in response to Muslims in Canada which identified the need for a specific, bespoke, academic platform for youth Muslims.

The launch of the AYAAT ILM Academy will be held in September, the launch will attend by AYAAT ILM Academy Advisory board, Curriculum Committee, Administrative Committee, and Central Committee.

AYAAT ILM Academy is using a number of modern educational methods for the live lectures. Moreover, recorded lectures will be made available to the students offline.

The academic year includes 2 semesters, five months each (September – January) and (February – June). Each semester includes 19 weeks for study and examinations

The 4 years (8 semesters) study of the Academy is divided into two levels:

– The Basic level: The duration of which is two academic years (4 semesters). It is bringing the students to a satisfactory level of the basic Islamic knowledge and Arabic language. It goes beyond that by providing a Values and Tazkiyah program helping the students to become role models and active community members.

In this level, there are eight fields of knowledge:

  • The Holy Quran: Reciting, Tajweed and
  • Tafseer
  • Hadeeth
  • Aqeedah
  • Fiqh
  • Seerah (life of the prophet PBUH) & History.
  • Al- Tazkiyah.
  • The Arabic Language: For Arabic native and non-native speakers.

The specialization level: This advanced level is for another 2 years (4 semesters). It is a continuation of the basic level where the student chooses between several Islamic knowledge specializations. Our Values & Tazkiyah program is continuing as well in this level to achieve better implementation of the Islamic knowledge values and manners

The study at this level is divided into six majors:

  • The Quran and Sunnah knowledge.
  • Seerah & History.
  • Fikr (Advocacy) and Da’wa (contemplation).
  • Arabic language and Balaghah (rhetoric).
  • Fiqh (Jurisprudence) and legislation.
  • Aqeedah and contemporary religions.
