Tajweed – Semester 3

There is no doubt that reciting the Noble Qur’an with Tajweed as revealed by Allah is an individual duty “Fard Ainفرض عين ” for everyone who recites it. Knowledge of the rulings of Tajweed is a collective obligation “Fard Kifaiyah فرض كفاية” for the entire Ummah, and it is undoubtedly expected from the students of Islamic knowledge, not only to recite it as it was revealed, but also to teach and spread it.

This book -as our professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Ma’asrawi said- his author collected and prepared it in a smooth and easy way, and presented his data in illustrative tables and graphs that would simplify the information and make it in a good form that would be fixed in the mind of the students and easy to understand from the young and the old, the specialist and the non-specialist alike, all in a smooth style that is neither Long and boring, nor short and less informative.

AYAAT Academy found that this valuable book should be adopted as a curriculum for Islamic studies in the field of Tajweed. We hope it would be an aid to our students towards good understanding of the Tajweed, and the perfect performance of reciting the Book of Allah.

لا شك أن تلاوة القرآن الكريم بالتجويد كما أنزله الله فرض عين على كل من يتلو، والعلم بأحكام تجويده وتلاوته فرض كفاية على الأمة كلها، وهو مطلوب لا شك من طلاب العلم الشرعي، ليس فقط ليتلوه غضًّا طريًّا كما أُنزل؛ بل أيضاً ليعلِّموه الناس وينشروه بينهم
وهذا الكتاب -كما قال أستاذنا الدكتور أحمد المعصراوي- قد قام مؤلفه بجمعه وإعداده بطريقة سلسة ميسرة، وعرض مسائله في جداول توضيحية ورسومات بيانية من شأنها تبسيط المعلومة وجعلها في قالب حسن يَثْبت في ذهن المتعلم ويسهل فهمها من الصغير والكبير، والمتخصص وغير المتخصص على حد سواء، كل ذلك في أسلوب سلس ليس بالطويل الممل ولا بالمختصر المخل
وقد رأت أكاديمية آيات أن تتبنى هذا العمل القيم منهجاً للدراسات الإسلامية في مجال التجويد؛ لعله يكون عوناً لطلابنا نحو الفهم الثاقب لأحكام التجويد، والأداء المتقن لتلاوة كتاب الله تعالى
