Course description for TAFL (teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language):
This is an online course in Arabic as a Foreign Language.
It develops the fundamentals of the Classical Arabic language, focusing mainly on the receptive skills (reading and listening), and supplementary on the productive skills (speaking and writing).
The main goal of this course is to understand the basic Islamic texts like some verses of Quran, prophetic Hadeeths, and phrases of the Prophet’s companions and scholars.
The course fulfills this target by exposing the students to a wide variety of simple Arabic words, texts & audio materials, explaining their vocabulary, syntax, morphology, sentence structure, and general meaning, in addition to drills based on them.
It covers A1 and A2 levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

هذه دورة على الإنترنت باللغة العربية كلغة أجنبية.
تطور أساسيات اللغة العربية الفصحى، مع التركيز بشكل أساسي على مهارات الاستيعاب (القراءة والاستماع)، واستكمال ذلك بالتركيز على المهارات الإنتاجية (التحدث والكتابة).
الهدف الأساسي من هذا المقرر الدراسي هو فهم النصوص الإسلامية الأساسية مثل بعض آيات القرآن والأحاديث النبوية وأحاديث الصحابة والعلماء.
تحقق الدورة هذا الهدف من خلال تعريض الطلاب لمجموعة متنوعة من الكلمات والنصوص والمواد الصوتية العربية البسيطة، وشرح المفردات، والنحو، والصرف، وتركيب الجملة، والمعنى العام، بالإضافة إلى التدريبات القائمة عليها.
وهي تغطي المستويات A1 و A2 وفقًا للإطار الأوروبي المرجعي الموحد للغات (CEFR).
